5 month old with tons of ear wax!! maybe tmi?

my 5 month old son has sooo much ear wax litterally i have to clean our huge chunks of ear wax out every other and sometimes everyday! is this normal? does it mean he has a problem?

  • Ear wax is normal. They have more of it b/c there little bodies need to produce it. The earwax is natures bug repellent. I think they have more b/c they need a little extra protection. Just be patient it will get better.

  • I am sure it's normal.. some times my daughter has chunks of it... If it was not supposed to be there it probablly wouldn't

  • My DD has tons of dark wax all the time. I have mentioned it to the doc a few times and he wasn't concerned. She's 3 now, and still has it. Chunks of it! It's gross.
