When u see the doctor for the 1st time(about 8 weeks) and they do blood work do the test for S.T.D?

  • They test for some, a few with a blood test and others with a pap at one of your first apointments. If you feel like you are at a high risk of having an std tell you doc. he or she will be more then happy to test you more in depth....your doc will do whatever he or she can to make you pregnancy as smooth and healthy as possible, but you have to tell them EVERYTHING!!!!!!   • You might have to ask them to. I don't think they automatically test, and if they do, it may not be for all STD's. I wouldn't worry about asking them though. I'm sure this is a common concern for pregnant women and they get asked to do these tests regularly.

  • Yeah all STD's .I had to sign for the HIV test.
