Do you think being separated is cheating?

  • until the divorce is final,then you/him are still legally married,so in answer to your question ,yes it is.

  • I'm not sure I understand the question. However, if you mean is dating cheating when you are separated, I say no.

  • I think it depends on the rules you made with the person you are separated from. If this is a break in hopes to work things out and you both said you wouldn't date, etc., then yes its cheating, but if you're both just waiting for the divorce and over it, and agreed to see other people, then no.

  • If you're dating someone else, yes. If you're just separated and in the process of making it final, no.

  • It depends on the rules of the separation. LEGALLY it is considered adultery, unless you are legally separated.

    If you decided to separate for a bit, and see other people, then that is a choice you make so it's *technically* not cheating.
