  • No, she just repsonds to familiar voices. You could say her name or someone else's and she would still look.

  • OP -- My son responded about 4 1/2 months but now at 6 months he does sometimes and sometimes doesn't. I'm sure it's just selective hearing but I get myself all worried about autism and everything. I have to stop reading things online about it!

  • nope, but he's got so many nick names, I'm not really suprised, he probably thinks his name's pumkinhead or babycakes lol

  • Yes, she did. She would turn and look...ok so not really her name because wer all called her punky poo or punkin. I have it on video, around 4 months, of us calling her everything in the book from her name (Maddysin) to Punky poo and she would only turn her head when we said punky poo or punkin! LOL so we started using her name very fast! Now she will "answer" to both!
