What is considered a fever for an 18 month old

My daughter has had a 101 degree fever almost all day now. Is this something to be alarmed about or is possible it is from teething?

  • It could be from teething. Try giving her some tylenol if you want to see if it will bring it down. If it stays for more than a couple of days or goes over 104 call her doctor.

I work at this hospital and this is a great reference for parents. It has a really helpful chart for you.
