Blood Work

If I went to the doctor for regular blood work, would pregnancy get picked up in the results?>

  • Depends what they ordered. For pregnancy, they order an HCG which is not a "standard" test. So if they didn't order it- the lab wouldn't be looking for it. Standard lab work is usually a blood count (CBC) and Electrolytes (BMP) and possibly clotting factors. HCG is not on there!

  • Well he sent in a perscription to test for everything. So I dunno.

  • I dont get the results until Saturday. They said it takes about 3 days and I went this morning.
