Did you read the TOS before you signed up on Cafemom?

I skimmed them, I admit it. But I did notice one thing...it says you have to at least 16 years old to be a member. Why do I keep seeing all these 14 & 15 year olds on here then? (yeah yeah I know they need "support" etc...that isnt what I am saying...saying how are they getting away with being on here when TOS says they arent allowed?)

  • So they lie to sign up? But then they go around telling everyone their real age? Doesnt make sense. I think they need a "Cafe teenmom" then! I like to talk to other adults. I think its kind of odd to be, say , posting a question about my teenager & have a teenager try & answer it! Or about my husband or maybe my mortgage or whatever "adult" thing & have a 14 yr old trying to chime in!

  • Some fourteen year olds are beyond their years .... do they make mistakes yes but I know there are teens out there that have more brains and common sense that some of the adults on here and they act more mature than some of them. :-) Making a mistake does not ever mean you are stupid.

  • I never said all 14 yr olds are stupid. But they have very very limited life experience in many areas. Just getting pregnant & having a baby doesn't open up some instant knowledge database to you. Do you want a 14 yr old answering a question about your sex life?

  • I didn't read the TOS either, but at 31, I know I'm old enough!

Now, I did have 5th grade students last year who said they had myspace and "just lied, so ?" to get it. Ugh.
