Did anyone here; Have a natural labor (no c-section, no induction, no pain relief), and breastfeed?

Are you happy with those choices?

  • Me, Me! I wouldn't have changed a thing, that birth high is amazing. I plan on doing it that way with future kids.

  • With my first.

The labor & birth were a complete nightmare. I think I was admitted on 'idiot day' at the hospital --- total incompetence.

  • Lady, sometimes things happen beyond our control. So what if it happens? Stop looking for trouble. Get a life.

  • Yep! The birth was like nothng else, completely and utterly painful, but amazing, and empowering. And breastfeeding, it's great, best for baby - best for mom, and my daughter is still enjoying the benefits at 17 months.
    I definitely reccomend both!

  • I did. No medical intervention except for the Dr. catching the baby. I gave birth using a birthing chair (this was in 1985, unfortunately they don't use them anymore), no prepping, no IVs no drugs. Got to the hospital at 8PM delivered at 8:40PM. Total labor and birthing time was about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I also breastfed. Very happy with my choices. However with my other 3, there were different circumstances with each one that required different choices. I am also happy with those choices, because I did what I had to do to get a healthy baby and a healthy, alive me!
