what is a good toothpaste w/ flouride for a 15 mo?

whenever i go to buy one, they all say for ages 2 and up. what can i use for my 15mo? pediatrician said i should use a toothpaste w/ flouride.

  • ask the pharmacist at your local drug store what they recommend, and they will show you. if im not sure about something i should be giving my son i always ask the pharmacist.

  • I buty the thoams teh train but its fluoride free.thats what her dentist recomendded until she doesnt swallow the toothpaste,well eat it.lol

  • Does your 15 month old spit? If s/he doesn't spit it out yet, I wouldn't use a fluoride paste.

  • Flouride toothpaste is not safe for a child so young. Flouride toothpaste isn't safe at all, IMHO. My DD is 16 months and I brush her teeth with water. As soon as I can buy a mint extract, we will switch to using a baking soda paste mixed with the mint.
