How many days after your period is over can you NOT get pregnant?

  • well i'm pretty sure that some women get pregnant while on their periods. Everyone ovulates at different times. So nothing is really acurate!

  • And the sperm can hang around for a while, too. So as ali says, nothing is really accurate.

  • Ok, you generally dont have a date after your period that you are fertile that is the same for every woman, but if your cycles are regular, you can kind of guess by counting backwards. Most all women ovulate between 12-14 days before they start their period. So I would be careful at days 10-16 before you start as sperm do hang around. Depending on how long your cycles are depends on how long after your period though, you will just have to do the math and figure it out.
