Who invented "Cafemom"?

Okay, don't get me wrong Cafemom seems to be a pretty cool place to learn about different stuff & meet new people but Is it really a good idea to have a bunch of women, whom most are very young & very immature{no offense, but if you took that statement personally then u must be one of those women} all on one site? I mean yes I think the site is resourceful & all but let's be serious...ALL WOMEN?

  • Well once men can become moms maybe the site will change - lol.

Btw, that's one reason I'm on here. I (in general) do not have to worry about guys sending me messages. I'm taken and I hate when they hit on you regardless, just because they can.

  • Ironically Men started CafeMom.

I stole this from cafemom discussion

"CafeMom was started by CMI Marketing, which also [ran] ClubMom, another leading website for moms. CMI Marketing was established in 1999 by Meredith Vieira, Andrew Shue, actor and social activist; and Michael Sanchez, CMI Marketing CEO and entrepreneur. Prominent investors include Highland Capital Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson."

  • Its naive to assume everyone registering and joining must be a female. There's nothing stopping anyone from joining. Even if they asked gender (which they don't) there's no way to verify anything anyone says.

As such as long as they are playing nice, I don't have issue with anyone being here.

This was was created by a man who admits he can't even use his own website unless he signs on with his wife's account. Thats just sad.
