Is blender okay for making baby food versus a baby grinder?

  • You don't need any special equipment to make baby food, a regular blender or food processor should do the job.

  • It's all I use. But be careful. Blenders usually have plastic parts that can melt, so no marathon baby food making sessions with hot food. I'm speaking from experience. You know that part on the bottom of the blender cup that hooks into the part on the machine part of it. Yeah, melted to nothing. Had to go out and buy a new blender. I like the new one better, anyway, though, lol.

  • We use a mini food processor and that thing is awesome!!! It is the perfect size for my DD's food plus it chops the food up really well. It was also super inexpensive.
