Do you eat healthy???? I mean really???

I dont at all... Im the worst, but yet i make my kids... Crazy mamas we are...

  • oh man i eat horrible. i try to eat healthy but i dont know whats even healthy anymore. and i want to try and by organic but i dont know whats good to buy.

  • I eat great. :) lol. Mostly organic stuff. I do however slip up sometimes and eat fast food. :D

  • We eat healthy, I don't know about REALLY healthy though. I am sure there are places I could improve, such as eating a better breakfast. But we eat lots of veggies, and dinner usually consists of chicken or pork, with red meat only once a week. We DO need more fruits and fish in our diet, but its hard when they are out of season.

  • yes I do and I'm sick of it but now that I eat healthy all the time junk food just doesn't taste good anymore. Some days I think eating healthy has robbed me of my food-lust joy!

  • We eat pretty healthy. I make most everything from scratch, buy lots of fresh produce. We eat only whole grains (except rice, my husband only likes white rice), I do have quite a sweet tooth though, so I bake a lot of goodies... better for us than store bought, but we really could do without

  • I eat as well as I feed my kids. We eat the same foods, mostly, minus the late-night-snacks. Overall, I do okay - I limit sugar & sodium as much as humanly possible, but we like our boxed mac & cheese, brownies, & frozen pizzas. We also love our fruits, and have a killer garden every year. All 4 kids love to go out & harvest what we're going to eat that day - they eat it better if they pick it!

  • i'm not a health nut, but we don't do fried foods, simple starches, pig, cow or bottom feeders (shell fish), processed foods, most dairy products, or convenience foods if i can at all avoid it. we eat mostly fresh/raw foods, as unprocessed as possible. no pop (except for mom, i know, i'm horrible), and sweets are a weekend treat, and limited at that- the kids LOVE dark chocolate though! no, we're not vegi's, but we eat very little meat- there are a lot of other protein sources to be had that are much more easily digested!
    my kids have always eaten this way, but i haven't- i gained a lot of weight, and always felt sick. so i simply started eating what i fed them, and be darned, i can't even look at a frenchfry now! lol i've lost about 60 lbs in the last year, and am still working on getting back into shape... it's a vitality issue. garbage in, garbage out, right?
