Don't you hate it when people say this?

I hate the word. "ABSOLUTELY"!!! I don't know why, but it makes my skin crawl like nails on a chalk board when someone asks a simple yes/no question and they always answer, "ABSOLUTELY" and drag out the word with such emotion. Just freaking say, "YES"! LOL!!!!

  • LOL!

I don't mind it. It is a stronger term than "yes" even though they have a similar meaning. What I hate is "abs-a-tively" - a combination of absolutely and positively.

  • I could care less what other people say. I would be on medication if I let small things like this bother me....Wow, you seriously need to get a life.

I have a life, thank you. Everyone, including yourself has something that irritates them. Don't be so rude!

  • Nope. I rather like the word myself, and use it on a regular basis.
