how come the back of the formula
says that after a huor to dump it out and make a new one
is it bad if i leave it in for al ittle more then a hour (not very much longer)

  • After the baby's drunk from the bottle, their germ/bacteria-filled saliva is all over it & in the formula - where it multiplies. Which is why they say even if baby only drinks half the bottle, don't keep it. If you are consistently having too much left over in the bottle, make an ounce less. But don't keep it for longer than it says. It can make baby sick.

  • A little longer than a hour won't hurt, but don't push it. A baby should have drank their bottle within the hour.
