what do you give our LO to drink at night? I want keep my baby's teeth healthy!

  • Doesn't matter as long as they don't go to sleep while drinking it. Just keep brushing those teeth and they should be fine.

  • Very little to drink before bed... for the most part..... water is the best way to go..... My son is a dentist and i have asked him this question for you and he said water, but no bottle or sippy cup in bed with them and yes brush their teeth even if its only one little tiny tooth....... hope it helps

  • Once they have teeth you shouldn't give anything but water unless you're going to brush or wipe the teeth after. (With babies you can wipe their teeth with a washcloth). It took us a long time to put this into practice, even though our dd was sleeping through the night without milk from 7 months. But it really is best for their teeth, so we ended up changing our whole bedtime routine to work around this. It actually forced us to get her to soothe herself to sleep since she didn't fall asleep on the breast.
