Best way to melt chocolate

Just wondering the easiest way to melt chocolate without one of those double boiler pans. Thanks.

  • I just create my own. I get a pan and fill it with a little bit of water. Then I put a bowl on top of the pan, so that its just hovering over the water. And melt the chocolate that way. Pretty much the same as a double boiler.

  • What are you using the chocolate for, and how much chocolate do you want to melt? Put it in a microwave safe dish and loosely cover it, with like a paper towel or something. start at one minute, then stir. put it in for another 15 seconds, then stir again. keep repeating this until all of the chocolate is melted.
