  • They just sent me a message that I had won a carseat based on how active I was. That was like spring/summer last year. Havn't gotten anythig else since. I didn't know you could sign up for it, lol, just thought you had to be lucky.

  • If you click on privacy & settings at the top of the page and choose email preferences from the menu, there is a place to click if you are interested in participating in the cafemom influencer programs (free stuff). Beyond that it's as the PP said. Mostly it's based on your participation. What groups you belong to, what kind of journals you write. How active you are on other moms pages. If CM thinks you have potential to influence then you have a great shot at being chosen. Also look out for CM owned groups often they are set up with free stuff in the offing. Everyday recipes, aol car group, and others are great examples. Watch the cm ads for those.

  • Here is an explanation from the CafeMom Team!

"Thank you for your interest in our Influencer Program.

CafeMom and our advertisers choose influencers based on a number of things like the mom's level of activity on CafeMom, quality of her writing, and expertise in a particular subject. In addition, the advertiser may specify specific criteria such as mom's age, age of kids, or certain geographical regions depending on whom they are targeting with their particular campaign.
