  • Think of a balloon sitting on a toilet paper tube. The tube is your cervix and the balloon is your bag of waters. You run your finger on the inside you the tube and seperate balloon from it (the bag from the cervix) just a bit. It essentially just causes a disturbance but such disturbances can cause you to go into labor. If you havent lost your mucos (sp?) plug yet you may loose it during or right after having this done as it loosens and pushes it around also. It also stretches your cervix to a point.

  • Did not work for me. Hurt SO BAD. I had it done twice and it was a waste of time and pain.
