HPV, bathing...

I have HPV. Can it be transferred to my baby by taking a bath with her? There is no direct contact, but I'm not sure if it can be transmitted through water?

  • ASKER: That's a relief, because bath time is our best bonding time. It would be a terrible thing to lose it. Thank you. :)

  • My ds got anal warts (hpv) when he was 18 months old. He had a compramised immune system from a horrible case of rotavirus and picked it up then. Neither my dh or I had genital warts, but dh has had them on his hands. They can be transmitted from direct contact. So as long as you don't have visible warts you should be ok.
