  • There are time when I think I am a good mom, times when I think I am a excellent mom, and times when I think why the hell did God gift me with these two beautiful little girls I am a horrible mom. I am in a good spot now so I think I am a good mom, but I am always looking for ways to improve myself as a mother! I think before I act on something and I think is going to really affect them in a positive or negative way when they are older.

  • I think I could be a better mom in a better situation. BUT! With what I have to work with I think I have worked magic when I really try. My son thinks I am the best mom in the world and (as an adult who knows other moms are better off then I am) I just say "Thank you honey and you are the best son"!

  • No I could improve in providing for my kids, they have food and a place to live but it could be better. we don't play games and we don't hug and have harmony or cook together. I don't set rules or ground the girls or put the boy on time out. I just really don't know what the heck I'm doing here!

  • I think most moms are too hard on themselves.  It's a very tough job because there aren't many breaks.  No one can be a good mom all the time.  I have days where I feel like my voice is getting louder and louder each time my two-year-old climbs up on the kitchen counter or throws a toy across the room, or whatever I've asked him not to do 500 times.  I never let a day go by without enjoying him for at least part of the time, and always make sure he knows that I love him more than anything in this world.  Providing unconditional love, nurturing, and basic needs to your child(ren) is what makes a good parent.   All the extra material stuff does not make anyone a better parent.
