My 14 month old started to spitt up every so often after being on whole milk

she was on soy formula when she was a baby..then i put her on whole milk when she was one... she just started to spitt up .. sometimes is curd and sometimes is just milk..... do you have any idea what is going on..? thank you

  • Wonder if she's lactose intolerant. Maybe try lactaid milk (lactose free milk) or lactase supplements (ask your ped if it's okay) and see if that helps.

  • dairy allergies do not always present themselves the first time it is introduced, or even immediately... if her system is not used to dairy, why introduce it at all? try using soymilk... nutritionally speaking, it contains all of the same key components, and more- without the obvious possibility of reaction, since you already know your little one is soy tolerant. it could also very well be acid reflux, which is quite common, and dairy aggravates it. try taking the dairy away for a short period, and see if it subsides.
