  • babies are different. At that age, my baby still wasn't doing much. He could lift his head when on his belly but not really lift up on his arms. He wasn't rolling over either. I would talk to your pedi if you are concerned.

    Just remember that these are guidelines.  If your child fails a couple months behind in the "most babies this age can do these things" column, bring it up to your doctor but otherwise remember that what a baby can do varies greatly.  Most babies who seem "gifted" or "slow" even out with their "normal" agemates by the time they start school.  "Gifted", "slow", and "average" are meaningless for kids under 6.
