When can I stop burping my daughter?

My DD is 6 months, BF, and sits up alone. She pushes up on her hands and knees like she's going to start crawling. She doesn't like to be burped so I was wondering when I can stop burping her? I don't remember when we stopped with my first daughter that's why I'm asking.

  • Right now. She sounds ready to me. Once they're sitting up on their own they're usually good. Try it and see if you have any issues.

  • THE MORE ACTIVE THEY BECOME THE LESS THEYLL NEED BURP ASSISTANCE. ACTIVITY REGULATES THE GAS IN THE TUMMY..SO PLAY IT BY EAR.
