i have 2 questions..

1) lets say an anon replies at 8:45pm..and when someone refers to their comment they say 11:45..how do you come up with these numbers???

2) what does (sp?) mean?

  • lol different time zones for one thing, and sp means someone doesn't know how to spell something.

  • I think the numbers have to do with separating out which anon the poster is referring to, and (sp?) means that the word is probably spelled wrong.

  • The person is saying (sp?) after the word because they are acknowledging that the word is probably spelled wrong. And you set your time zone on your CM, so if you're west coast it could say that it was posted at 8:30 pm, but someone reading it on the east coast, and commenting on it will see 11:30 pm on their computer, because that's what time it is where she is, so she comments about it being at 11:30. Make sense?

  • Yeah it is strictly a time zone thing, and just pay attention to the last numbers. I know one girl who's on here late at night is in Korea (military) and some in Hawaii, so there is a great difference in times. If you look, you can find a "what time is it where you are?" question, and you'll see lots of different answers.
