Honey for a Cough?

Anyone heard of this? Giving honey for a cough? My 13 month old gets sick alot, and always seems to get a cough. I know about everything else you can do, but now that he is over a year, is it okay to give him honey for his cough? How much do you give? Does it work?

  • I would ask the pediatrician just to make sure. Generally, it is for under 1 year. If the dr. approves this, you will be AMAZED at how well it works. It is terrific! (1 teaspoon does the trick!)

  • The rule is no honey until they are 1yo- but at only 13 months I would first ask my ped before I tried it.
