what shirt size do you wear with big boobs?

Kinda weird question lol. But Since having the baby (i'm 10 months post partum)and since breastfeeding my boobs are huge (40-42 D, depending on brand). My stomach has shrunk a little, but I'm still bigger than I was before pregnancy. But it seems I can fit in a large but the chest area fits tightly. would this make me an XL/plus-size for tops? are there certain shirts made for woman with big boobs but "average waist? thanks!!

  • i have naturally big boobs (dd) and a smaller waist, i wear an xl cause the large is just too tight and uncomfortable across my chest, i feel like its squishing me.

  • I wear a XXL, but I'm bigger all around even though I look pretty proportionate. Everything else is just WAY too tight across the chest. I'm a 42 F though lol.

  • I would suggest trying a 1X based on the bra size you listed or look for shirts that are a relaxed cut in size XL.

  • I'm a size 14 jeans but many times I have to get a 16 or 18 in the tops because of my 40DD chest!
