BOWEL PROBLEM FROM HYSTERECTOMY?

I'M HAVING A HYSTERECTOMY AND THE DR. WANTS TO LEAVE THE CERVIX IN I DON'T WANT TO HAVE MORE PROBLEMS DOWN THE ROAD SO I WANT IT ALL OUT. ANY KNOWLEDGE ON THE SIDE EFFECTS.

  • As far as I know there are none except for the risk of cervical cancer.  I'm not sure why you mentioned the bowels though.

  • I think they leave in the cervix to prevent the bowel from falling down. Nobody wants that.
