  • When they were small, I worried about whether they would be healthy and whether they would get along in school. Then whether they'd be able to drive without being in serious accidents. Whether they'd get into drugs or in a bad crowd. Then I worried whether they'd get into college. And about whether they'd do well enough in college to get a good job. Then whether they'd do well in their jobs.Whether they'd meet and marry good women. Whether they'd have the families that they wanted. Now.... just general worries- will they stay healthy, will they stay happy.

  • My biggest concern is when they turn teenagers. Lord help me if they turn out the way I was when I was a teenager. I just about can not stand the thought! I want to teach them enough to not get into drugs and alcohol.
