my 3 month old has green mucas like poop is that normal?

  • Did you LO just get shots? If so, that can be a side effect. If not, then they might have stomach flu. If it persists more than a couple days I would call the pedi.

  • dark green and like tar? that would be from too much iron usually.

    lihter green, might mean he is swallowing congestion

  • probably he has a cold and it's mucas. kids often swallow mucas and it comes out in their diaper

  • It could be a couple different things. If it's lighter colored it could also possibly be a reaction to a food sensitivity. If your little one is also have strong gas pains or has blood in their stool, those are also signs of food sensitivity. If you're already feeding him anything other than breastmilk/formula, you could stop for a couple weeks to confirm.

    If it's just the mucous, and the poop has a very dinstinctly different smell than normal, that could be a stomach bug.
