how could i do my hair in multiple colors, while still keeping them seperate? (asked in other category2)

i am going to try to do my hair in multiple colors, and keep each one separate and vibrant! but i have no idea how to do that! each time we have tried, the colors ran together and looked all mottled and yucky :( any ideas?? HELP!!

  • If your hair is't bleached (just naturally light in color that could make the colors more mottled). But, assuming you have or are going to bleach your hair I would use foil to seperate the sections of different color. I would then wash out each section individually, leaving the other section still wrapped in foil until you are all done.

  • I really like the first one, you know how when you color your hair you color it dry? well try doing one color, then rinse it out, dry it, do the next color, rinse it out, so on so on. Very time consuming, but it could work. Have you asked a professionals opinion?
