did they think they would be the ones to pay?

According to MSNBC exit poll data, those aged 18 to 29, who made up nearly one in five voters -- or about 25 million ballots -- went for Obama by more than two to one: 66 to 32 percent.

Won't these young voters be the ones to pay for Obama's generational theft?
Did they have any idea they would when they cast the vote for the shopaholic?
The older voters are retiring or are retired, so these youngsters have years and years to work to pay off their vote.

  • Do you realize currently, the Stimulus will cost each Tax Payer $20,000.
So if a 20 year old were to retire at 65. He will have paid an extra $445 a year(for 40 years) to pay back this stimulus. ALL that to get $13/week for a year, then a little less thereafter. ANd Obama isn't done yet.
Even if Obama were to tax those making over $75,000 he STILL CANNOT come up with enough funds to pay his healthcare reform. Not even including all the other reform he is hoping the govt to fund.
I don't think his voters understand the MATH. It's going to be a long, pricey ride (in a midst of an already occuring recession...) Is he spending us into a depression?

  • I guess they will also have the reality of knowing that there will be no social security for them when they retire, so they also have the most time to save for retirement, if they are able to save at all.

  • Don't you think the youth will have a bigger price to pay if we just sit back and do nothing? I mean seriously, If we don't work on right now, the future "american dream" will be shattered for all.

As for those young voters well they probably do not care and won't until it effects each of them directly.
