  • Just put his formula into a Nuby sippy cup. Or any sippy cup. He's plenty old enough to have one. He still should have formula until a year though. Better for digestion. Maybe ask your doctor if he should have a different formula.

  • Put his formula (he's too young for milk) in a sippy, I agree. He needs the nutrition from formula until at least he's getting his nutrition from table foods.

You might want to consider starting to introduce those as well....something to think about. Table foods have more calories than baby food. Just dice some pieces up and let him go to town!

It is normal for them to drop their formula consumption at this age, but something needs to pick up the slack...so according to our pediatrician...this is a good time to start the table foods.

  • I agree, put the formula in a sippy cup. I would also continue w/ the bottle until he is able to get lots of formula from the cup. Formula has more calories ounce per ounce than most solid foods. Plus, babies need formula (or breastmilk) for proper nutrition, growth, and brain development until they are at least 1yr. old. They aren't able to get all that they need from foods yet. If he eats any baby cereal, you can mix that w/ formula to get a little extra into him too.

  • He need formula until a year at least, so weather its from a bottle or sippy or regular cup just find a way to get him to drink his formula, his system isnt ready for much else at this age!
