  • Our daughter is 2 1/2 and so far we call it her privates and her bum. Mostly to avoid loud conversations in public that are even more graphic. However, a brother is on the way and I'm assuming at some point soon she's want more specifics and we'll go with the 'real' names as we need to.

  • We call it be it's name. I have a boy and we call his penis ...a penis. Also, if your children go to school that is what the teacher is supposed to refer to it as if the subject is ever brought up. (such as with bathroom issues). My DS knows that boys are boys bc they have a penis and girls are girls bc they have a vagina. ...and when i have a girl it will not be any different.

  • I just have a little boy right now. 17 months old. It's his pee pee or wee wee. I will teach him the actual name here eventually. I think it is important for them to learn the proper names at some point.

  • We call them what they are. We see no need for making up silly names for any body parts.
