Does it drive you absolutely nutty when someone tries her best to sound like she knows what she's talking about in her response to questions, but then she can't spell?

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or when you are cruising childcare ads and the childcare provider that is boasting about helping with homework, abc's, etc...AND THEY SPELL WORD INCORRECTLY?!!!!

  • I have had people do that to me quite a few times and I think it's hilarious. I even had one point out my spelling mistakes then spelled something wrong herself! What's even funnier is that I didn't spell anything wrong. She just said I was a bad speller with no education. I reviewed what I wrote and everything was spelled right.

  • I just think it seems uneducated, especially in the politics section, to be backing up your point with words like "obveusly" or (my favorite tonight) "Britian". When you don't know how to spell the topics that you're trying to seem educated on, you are in fact not educated on them. A little ironic, huh?
