Shaving a child's head...

I've heard from many people that they either have or known people who have shaved their babies head when they started to get the bald spot on the back or sides of their lil noggins....

  • No. I just trimmed my boys' hair (with hairdresser scissors) as short as possible as they started losing the hair they were born with, so you didn't notice the bald patches. I thought buzzing their hair/heads would freak them out at 6-7 months, so I just propped them up in the bathroom sink (so they could see themselves) and gave little trims. :o)

  • I shaved my son's head when he got his balled spots. Nothing bad happend, he just looked like a cancer patient, or like he was just born with no hair. When he was born with a head FULL of hair.
