My husband uses $100 per day per person as a guideline for a good deal. That may not include port charges and taxes. Don't forget that you will have to pay for your drinks, shore excursions, photos and tip the room steward, waiter, assistant waiter and the maitre de (if you are inclined). FYI - some cruise lines have food 24/7 others do but you have to pay for the privilege. Some require payment for their more upscale restaurants. Some allow the purchase of a soda card for the duration which is much cheaper than paying per glass. Some allow you to bring alcohol on discreetly, others will confiscate until the end of the cruise.
It is definately cheaper than an all inclusive land vacation.
