Besides baby cereal what was the first thing you gave baby to eat??

  • Vegies are good things to start with. fruits sometimes have acid that hurts their tummies. Most doctors say to wait until they are 6 months old to start vegies and fruits. Check out the baby food section, most of them say at what age you can start giving them right on the box.

  • Bananas. lol. I always start w/ bananas. But now he's eating peaches sweet potatoes peas carrots and prunes.

  • Avocado is a really mild first food. It isn't too sweet and is very gentle on their tummies. Plus its full of good fat. Then move on to other fruits and veggies. Sweet Potato, Carrot, Squash, Banana, Apple, Pear are all good. If you're making your own, make sure you steam them before you puree (except Avocado and Banana) so that it reduces the acidity.
