  • Hell, I am 22 (23 this year) and people consider me a young mother.

Me, I consider....well, I consider myself young I suppose. Not too young, but young. Probably 20 and under I would consider a young mother.

  • I think it all depends on the person. I'm 24 and I have three kids, and I think I do an awsome job. There are some women that are not fit to be mothers. It doesn't matter their age. As long as someone can finacially, and emotionally take care of kids, putting thier kids needs ahead of thier own. Then it probably doesn't matter if they are 19 or 49. Right?

  • I think 20 and younger is considered young but young doesn't necessarily mean bad or ill-prepared. There's a certain level of mental and emotional maturity that makes parenting a lot easier as you get older. Some people are blessed with this very early in life. Most are not.

  • I think anyone who hasn't gotten thier sh*t together and is still immature is still too young to be a mother. She can be 18 or 80!

But other than that I'd consider anyone under 21 to be a young mother.
