had my baby a week ago and the blood coming from...TMI

my va jayjay
is a brownish green
i got a doc appt tomorrow
cuz there also is a really bad smell
kinda like something old and moldy
i was just wondering if this happend to any other moms
and wut it ended up being
o ya i had a c-section
my side is also hurting so bad i cant lean or move it with out me wanting to cry
again this ever happen to anyone else and if so wut was it????

  • my side would hurt a little bit too when i would move at certain times and i had a c section as well...

    it may be an infection and if it is, the pain might be from that but im not sure...

  • I wouldn't advise waiting until tomorrow, I'd go to the ER.

    Brownish-green blood doesn't even SOUND normal...and is the smell coming from 'down there' or is it coming from your C-section wound? It sounds like an infection, and its better to be seen tonight than tomorrow. If it IS an infection, it can multiply and spread very quickly, making something that's not serious something that is in a matter of hours.

  • Sounds like there may be a piece of the placenta still inside you and it is rotting. It happens and can be really painful. They will do a D&C to get it out if that's what it is. It can make you hemmorage so you have to hurry.

  • You probably have an infection go to the ER. infection is still the leading cause of post-partum death.
