If I were you, I wouldn't use the spray. Just vacuum thoroughly and put couch pillows in the dryer on the longest hottest cycle there is. Remember that lice spray is pesticide, and pesticides can make you sick!!! Keep vacuuming your house and furniture twice a day for a couple of weeks. Wash all bedding in hot water and dry on the hottest longest dryer cycle if you can. Do the same for stuffed animals. The MOST important part of your lice eliminating routine is getting EVERY LAST NIT out of the hair! The lice shampoo kills the adults and makes the eggs easier to get out, but it doesn't kill the eggs, so if you leave eggs behind the infestation will start all over again! You're much much less likely to get lice again because the bugs were on your couch. If lice return it's probably because you didn't do a good enough job nit-picking. Good luck.
