2 month sleeping ALOT.... this ok?

Could she be sleeping soo much because shes sleeping and not eating?
Pee normal, poo once a day average. No tears, always happy. Am I overreacting?

  • How much is she sleeping? If she's eating, pooping and growing as she should, I wouldn't be worried about it too much. Just keep an eye on those milestones and make sure to interact with her while she's awake. At two months they tend to still sleep quite a bit! My 9 month old still takes two or three 3 hour naps a day and then sleeps usually 12 hours at night (or so). Every kid is different, and most kids don't get ENOUGH sleep!

Plus - their brains grow and do a lot of work during sleep. So you're little one is probably going to be a genius!

I would keep an eye on her sleep patterns and try to be aware if she seems lethargic or hard to wake up. You could always try laying down with her and taking a nap with her so she can nurse during naptime. My son does that (I think that's why he takes such long naps!)

  • how are the milestones?

Normally a lot of sleep isn't a problem...except for the baby's wardrobe. They grow in their sleep.
