  • The stock market goes up and down, depending on buying and selling. Also from the information they recieve from retail. The stock market will be the first sign, the economy is improving. When it stablizes, then we will see things returning to normal, or at least getting better.

  • Warren Buffet came out and started talking? Confidence? Some big businesses are predicting modest earnings? Stimulus? Housing? Combination of it all, and MORE than I have mentioned or even thought of.

  • Over history, stock market goes up and down and you can't predict it at all. But one thing for sure it does reflect what our economy is like, even though its only 30 companies in the stock.

  • Because Citi posted an actual profit, and the Asian market bounced up a little bit because of that overnight, and now we're reacting to the Asian market.

But I thought our fearless leader said the market is stupid and we're not supposed to look at it anymore?
