How many thousands do you shell out every year for taxes?

  • I dont really know but we calculated it once at nearly 45% of our income. Don't forget sales tax, gas tax, car registration fees, SSI, Medicare, and all the other thousands of little taxes and government fees we pay in addition to state and federal income tax.

  • Total ALL taxes (Fed, State, Local, SS, Medicare, SE, etc) we are at about 40% of gross. That isn't including sales, property, etc...
