Is it ok to cook with a green pepper that is starting to wrinkle?

It's about a week old and one side is starting to get wrinkled - just wondering if I could still use it in fajitas

  • I got mine free at the market cause of that and their still good! Cut the rest up and freeze in a baggie before they go very very bad with hair!

  • Yeah, buy huge bags at the farmers market and cut and remove the membranes and freeze them. Tomatoes that are starting to wrinkle are supposed to have even more flavor than a fresh tomato.

  • As long as it's well cooked and there isn't any mold on it and it doesn't feel slimy.
