Sleeping?

Sometimes my son will sleep from like 7-8 in the evening to 6am. Is that too long for him to be sleeping? He is a fat baby, so its not like he doesnt eat enough...

  • How old is he? Mine started sleeping 8 hours at 6 weeks and by 8 weeks she was sleeping 11-12 hours at night. No, that isn't too much. In fact, babies typically sleep about 15 hours a day until about a year. (Younger babies will sleep longer. I babysit a 3 mo. old that probably sleeps 18 hours total a day).

  • BTW, he never wakes up at night. Once he is in bed for the night, sometimes as late as 11, but usually around 7-9, he always sleeps thru the night. Sorry, not trying to brag! Just looking for answers!

  • You are lucky. Let him sleep as much as he wants. Don’t worry If he is hungry he going to wake up.

  • Not a problem! When my son was about 10-18 months he would sleep from 6pm to 6am.
