  • you'd be almost 4 months pregnant then. 16 weeks is 4 months pregnant

  • Ha ha ha ha! Not according to What to expect book... (which I think can't count either) but it says that weeks 14-18 are month Four! I don't get it either but whatever, I like the sound of 4 months along! LOL

  • Here's how I counted. If you are going by weeks they of course you are 15 1/2 weeks along. But most people want to know how many months, so what I did was count backwards from my due date. You are due Sep 2 when you will be 9 months. So counting backwards Aug you were 8 months, July - 7 months, June - 6 months, May - 5 months, Apr - 4 months, Mar - 3 months. Which would make you about 3 1/2 months. Counting by weeks then transferring them to months using the 4 weeks to a month formula doesn't work because first of all there's more than just 4w in a month and a pregnancy is 40w which would = 10 months. It's kind of messed up because you are actually 2w before you even concieve, then 4w by the time you miss you first period, so you've really missed a month of pregnancy before you know you are pregnant. Good luck and congrats.

  • weeks vs months

    The timeline is like this:
    Month 1 = Weeks 1-4
    Month 2 = Weeks 5-8
    Month 3 = Weeks 9-13
    Month 4 = Weeks 14-17
    Month 5 = Weeks 18-21
    Month 6 = Weeks 22-26
    Month 7 = Weeks 27-30
    Month 8 = Weeks 31-35
    Month 9 = Weeks 36-40
