Its Sunday...You know what that means...

SUNDAY ROAST!.......For us Brits anyway.

Do you americans have a special dinner on sundays. We have roast chicken/beef/pork/lamb with potatoes and vedgies and lots of gravy!

My favourite meal of the week.

  • We used to have a nice family dinner after church when I was younger. Like a roast with the potatoes/carrots and a salad or two. Or just a nice chicken dinner with veggies,etc.

    Nowadays its a free for all many times LOL. DH is usually helping someone out or vegging and I dont cook on Sundays if I can help it so its frozen dinners or ordering in.

  • we have corned beef and cabbage every sunday and if i wasnt pregnant that would be followed with a beer or whiskey lol

  • When I was growing up we always had a huge chicken dinner every sunday! Now, my husband hates chicken! LOL. So I rarely get to have a big huge chicken dinner : (
