  • Meh. I'm sure everyone who speaks publicly messes up all the time. Especially if you take clips and edit them together. If I remember correctly this is a pretty common thing to do with every president, it can be amusing but ultimately is not relevant. I remember all sorts of edited clips put together from Reagan, GHW Bush, Clinton, GW Bush, and now Obama.

However, I think it is commonly accepted that Obama is a very powerful speaker, by both Dems and Repubs.

  • Even though I didn't vote for him, he has a very relaxing voice. A study was actually done pre election between the affect of his voice on people versus McCain, and Obama had an effect on people (pulse and bp)...kinda weird if you ask me. It was reported that he did not speak well without a teleprompter, I'm told on talk radio it is because he needs to read what he is SUPPOSE to be saying not what he is ACTUALLY wanting to say....he is evidently more liberal than most liberals would tolerate!

  • He is a smooth talker and it takes alot of effort to come up with all that crap plus remember it too.

  • I cant get the link to open but every time I have seen him speak where he wasnt rehearsed or using a TelePrompter he sucked. He hem's and haw's so much you cant make sense of what he's saying. It takes him 10 minutes to put together a coherent answer. Sure, he is a wonderful public speaker.... as long as he isnt asked a question he hasnt rehearsed or the power dosent go out.

  • Sadly, yes, that is the real Obama. He sure fooled alot of people. Oh,and the fact that liberal Hollywood bought the election for him, he really didn't have to show his true nature.

  • I absolutely think that Bush was the worst public speaker ever. With and without a teleprompter.

  • Oh he's a smooth talker alright...just like the used car salesman trying to get you to buy that heap of junk.

I think it is kind of funny that he is actually so inarticulate, especially after Bush caught so much crap.

  • He is no better than Bush, at least when Bush spoke it came from within, not a bunch of hem and haws and Oh sh*t I forgot what I was talking about, because I don't have any idea who I am without well thought and previously written speeches, yep he speaks in a good voice, mono and boring. He is an idiot. I hope he likes tea.

  • It's scary to think about who may be feeding him his words. Can we say ANTI-CHRIST??

I don't really think he's the Anti-Christ. Just be clear about that.

But who is actually writing these speeches? Is BO just a puppet? There to look pretty and be all charismatic?? If so, who is pulling the strings???

  • Bush may have been a bad speaker, but he didn't hide it. Obama does his best to insure his public speaking engagements are militant in planning and his staffers give him answers to questions on the teleprompter. That's deception, speaking well through the constant use of a teleprompter with the assistance of others? If he doesn't speak well on his own that is one thing, but to deliberately do ALL that he can to hide that fact and speak in inuendo's and underlying tones to only reinforce core beliefs of the audience is another.
