Is it true the more fiber you eat the more weight you lose?

  • The more fiber in your diet the better. On weight watchers the key is eating fiber and drinking plenty of water. On a good week I would lose 5-6 lbs on ww. So yes fiber helps, it also keeps you full longer

  • Because you then are "fuller" and eat less. It also helps carry some of the fat out with it--but not changing your eating habits and just drinking a fiber drink---no. It depends on the fiber you are talking about--just drinking it--all it will do is fill you up. Now eating more veggies for the fiber--that is the healthy choice;-)

  • Fiber does not help me at all. It actually seems to plug me and make me gain weight.

  • only if it is natural organic form of fiber - don't waste your time with processed foods or diet foods that run on the fiber band wagon
